Our Summer 25/26 edition is a celebration of everything that makes Hawke’s Bay vibrant, resilient and full of heart. Across 112 pages, we bring together stories of people, places and pleasures that define the season, from sun soaked escapes to community spirit and creative inspiration.

In this issue, we turn the spotlight onto our own talented team with an intimate feature on Photography Director Charlotte Anderson, exploring her award winning international career and passion for capturing life through a lens. We also take you inside the beautifully scented world of GEORGE & EDI, and share the moving work of Canine Friends Pet Therapy, where wagging tails bring joy to those who need it most.

Our Perceptions section digs deeper into the region’s identity, with a visit to EIT’s transformed campus following Cyclone Gabrielle, a look inside the world of the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce, and new stories from our favourite Kiwi Country Kids.

Summer wouldn't be complete without exploring our region’s favourite destinations. From the tranquil luxury of Wallingford Homestead to the blooming beauty of Frimley Park Rose Gardens, we showcase the best experiences to enjoy under long, golden evenings. We also bring you an exciting update on Napier’s new library, soon to be a modern community hub.

In Pleasures, we share recipes, styling inspiration, garden goodness and holiday reads. And don’t miss Roasting for Rory, a powerful story of community, courage and kindness wrapped around a 24 hour coffee fundraiser.

It’s a warm, rich and uplifting summer collection made to be savoured slowly in the sunshine.
